Here is our list of the top holiday events in Vail/Beaver Creek for 2019:

1) Vilar Performing Arts Center Holiday Calendar

2) Storytime with Santa at The Bookworm

Riverwalk’s Tis the Season is back! See Santa and his reindeer, listen to carolers, and get in the spirit! Santa will be there for storytime and to take Christmas wishes.

3) 10th Mountain Legacy Parade

You are invited to watch skiers dressed in traditional 10th Mountain Division Ski Trooper uniforms perform a Torchlight Ski Down to the base of Gondola One, followed by a parade of military veterans, also in traditional uniform, marching from Gondola One down Bridge Street, across the Covered Bridge and finishing at the 10th Mountain statue. The side of Vail Mountain will be illuminated with the 10th Mountain Division logo, and the celebration will feature a film on the history and legacy of Vail projected at the base of Gondola One and animated with fireworks.

Vail’s newly-renovated Colorado Snowsports Museum will stay open after the parade for guests to visit and learn about Colorado’s ski history through the new 10th Mountain Division exhibit– the most comprehensive of its kind in the world–and a showing of the film “Climb to Glory.”

4) NYE Ski Down Torchlight Parade & Fireworks

Once you’ve recovered from all the holiday festivities, ring in the New Year Vail style, with The Torchlight Parade. Come to Golden Peak to watch the annual Torchlight Parade and fireworks at Golden Peak. Watch as ski instructors and Vail locals form a glowing train as they ski down Golden Peak with glowing sticks followed by a fireworks display. Tuesday, December 31, 2019 – 6:15 pm. Golden Peak.

5) Vail Holidays/Winterfest

Vail Holidays kicked off last week and continues through New Year’s Eve. Don’t miss out on any of these events including ice-skating performances, the lantern walk, and the Vail Winterfest Ice & Lights Installation.  For more info, please visit vailholidays.com

6) Beaver Creek’s Cheer
