Mountain Resort Concierge was founded by Mark Dubovy in December 2015. A graduate of Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration, Mark received a Bachelor of Science in Resort Marketing. During his time at school, Mark worked in a variety of large resorts, including Caesars Lake Tahoe and Marriott’s Mountain Resort in Vail. Following graduation, Mark moved to New York, where he spent the next fifteen years managing multi-million dollar marketing campaigns and special events in the sports, hospitality, fashion, food/beverage and entertainment industries. He has worked for major media networks such as ESPN and Spike TV as well as a variety of agencies and properties such as J. Walter Thompson, Clarion Marketing, the NFL and Verizon. In every role, Mark has excelled at developing creative marketing solutions and over-delivering on client expectations.
After working in the corporate world for many years, Mark eventually chose to pursue his dream to live and work near the mountains and moved to Vail, CO in the Fall of 2012. During his first few years in Vail, Mark served as an event marketing consultant to numerous local and national companies and also worked part-time as a certified PSIA Level 1 Ski Instructor. Many of his past clients included families of Fortune 500 executives and professional athletes. In the offseason, he enjoys tennis, mountain biking, paddle boarding, hiking, and playing golf. An ex-USSA and collegiate ski racer, Mark has been skiing since he was 5 years old and has traveled to mountain resorts all over the USA, Canada and Europe. Throughout his years of experience in the corporate world and in mountain operations, Mark has gained an understanding of the needs of the luxury traveler and has developed a passion for delivering top-notch customer service.
